Modern Communications Co., Ltd. begins DTP/editing operations using Apple Macintosh systems.

Construction of the Modern Urawa plant completed, Print Division established.

Modern Communications structure merged into Modern Creative to provide enhanced production capacity (design, DTP, etc.) and to begin promotion of the multimedia and digital businesses.
